Our facilities are inspected twice yearly, once while in operation, by Rensselaer County Department of Health to make sure the physcial facilities are safe and that supervision is adequate.

Our purpose is to provide a full day of aquatic, athletic, cultural, educational and environmental activities conducted by our fully trained adn certified Boys & Girls Club staff. Our staff is not only qualified and experienced, but deeply concerned with each camper's progress and well-being. Any parent/guardian is invited to visit our camp anytime it is in operation, we only require that you check in with our staff as soon as you enter the property. It is for the safety of our children that we must know, at all times, everyone that is on camp grounds.

Camp Adventure, owned and operated by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Rensselaer County, is proud to announce its 33^rd season at our present location on beautiful Burden Lake. Over 35 acres of picturesque property provided excellent conditions for aquatic, athletic, cultural, educational and environmental activities. We pride ourselves on maintaining a highly qualified camper to counselor ratio of 8:1 with our full-time professionals employed by the Boys & Girls Club and specialists certified in their specific fields of expertise. The organization's in house training program insures that all staff is current on all requirements of county, state and federal regualtions. The entire staff is not only qualified and experienced, but deeply concerned with each camper's progress and well-being. Each camper is urged to sample all the scheduled camp programs and encouraged to pursue those that he/she wishes to master.
