WHAT WE OFFER
A Safe Haven... Today, drugs and violence are a mojor problme in every American city. That is why it is reassuring to have a SAFE and POSITIVE place such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Rensselaer County. At the Club members are able to interact with one another without a threat to themselves or their peers. However, your children are surrounded by professional staff that serve as excellent role models adn mentors in making tough decisions regarding issues that may face the youth of today.
In this type of environment, children are able to relax and enjoy themselves; and to leave parents secure in the knowledge that their children are safe and protected.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Rensselaer County is indeed "The POSITIVE Place for Kids".
Did You Know? The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Rensselaer County has an open door policy for member's ages 6-18 during normal hours of operation, with the exception of those hours of the After School Express Program. This means our members are free to enter and leave the Club as they wish. It is the responsibility of the parents to instruct their child as to when and by what means their child/children may leave.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America has a line-up of tested and proven nationally recognized programs that address the most contemporary youth issues of the day such as teaching youn g people the skills they need to succeed in life.
The more than 25 national programs are available, many of them at no cost.
