2010 Camp Sessions

Camp Registration begins on March 1, 2010

Camp Fees
$110.00 per one week plus a $1.00 surcharge

All fees are payable prior to the start of each session. Those not paid will not be included on the roster, as there is limited space available on buses. A very limited number of camperships are available. For more information, registration form or campership applications, contact the Administrative Office at (518) 465-3403.

Breakfast Club (Extended Care 7:00am–9:00am)
$35.00 per week

For parents who need to get to work early, register for breakfast and drop your child off as early as 7:00am. We will provide a nutrious breakfast and quiet activities until departure for Camp Adventure.
 
NOTICE:  FOR THOSE CAMPERS NOT REGISTERED FOR THE BREAKFAST CLUB, PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE AT THE CLUB BEFORE 9:00 AM
               THERE WILL BE NO BREAKFAST CLUB AT CAMP THIS YEAR. CAMP GATE OPENS AT 10:00 AM
 
Transportation
 
Transportation will be provided from the Boys & Girls Club to Camp Adventure and back to the Club each day. It is the parent's responsibility to drop your child off at the Club between 9:00 - 9:30 AM, or if you live in the Averil Park area, at Camp Adventure no earlier than 10:00 AM. If your child is not registered in the Early Bird Breakfast Club, he/she will n ot be allowed in the building untiul 9:00 AM.
 
If you live on or near the bus route described below, you can make arrangement with our office to have your child picked up along the route at a convienent and safe stop. All stops will be determined as registrations are received.
 
Bus Route(s)
 
Route # 1:  Rensselaer/West Sand Lake: The bus leaves the Club at 9:30 AM sharp and proceeds North on Broadway to Washington Ave. The bus then continues on Washington Ave. out of the City and crosses Route 4 in North Greenbush and onto Route 43 East. The bus then continues East on Rt. 43 through Sand Lake and into Averill Park. In Averill Park, we bear right on Eastern Union Turnpike to Holcomb Rd. At Holcomb Rd. we turn right and continue on Holcomb to the intersection with 2nd Dyke Rd. We then take a right on 2nd Dyke Rd. and a right into Camp Adventure.
 
(Tenative) Route # 2:  East Greenbush/Schodack: Bus 2 leaves the club at 9:30 AM sharp and proceeds South on Broadway to the intersection with Columbia St. (Rts. 9&20). The bus turns left onto Rts. 9 & 20 South & East and continues out of the City of REnsselaer and through the Town of East Greenbush and into the Town of Schodack. At Route 150 in Schodack we take a left and continue North on Route 150. The bus stays North on 150 until it reaches the intersection with Millers Corners Rd. Takes a right on Millers Corners Road and continues East to Burden Lake Road. At Burden Lake Road, we take a left and stay North on Burden Lake Road until the intersection with 2nd Dyke Rd. At 2nd Dyke Road we take a right and continue East on 2nd Dyke Road until we arrive at Camp Adventure on the right.
